For our NNEA meeting on Thursday, January 11th (4 pm PST), we’ll be having a great speaker coming to share his experience with us. Our speakers are very experienced advocates for neurodiversity and can possibly offer very helpful insights to many of us, whether we are students, parents, advocates, or educators.

Speaker: Shea Belsky
Shea Belsky is an autistic self-advocate and changemaker. He is the Chief Technology Officer of Mentra, a hiring platform for neurodivergent jobseekers to seek gainful employment from neuroinclusive organizations. Shea brings several unique perspectives to supporting neurodivergent colleagues: He has been the manager of neurodivergent & neurotypical employees, has reported to neurodivergent & neurotypical managers, and has advocated for the needs and wellbeing of neurodivergent & neurotypical peers. He is also a champion for accessibility in the workplace, for software, and in physical spaces. Shea is excited to share these experiences with others in order to create a more neuro-inclusive workplace for everyone.
