Annika Singh
Public Relations Lead
Annika is a senior at Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, California. She serves as the head of NNEA’s Public Relations subcommittee. Annika is interested in exploring the intersection of journalism and neurodiversity advocacy, serving as the Opinion Editor of her school newspaper. She hopes to increase inclusivity in education for neurodiverse individuals as a part of NNEA. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, listening to music, and spending time with her dog.
Vedhika Mohankumar
Public Relations
Vedhika is a junior at Irvine High School in Irvine, California. After participating last year in the SNP-Reach program, she found out about the NNEA Core Committee. Inspired to make a change to her community, Vedhika was a member of the Public Relations Subcommittee for the past year. She used her new knowledge to help expand and improve Peer1on1, a club dedicated to helping neurodiverse youth. Some of her hobbies include reading, spending quality time with friends and family, and music.
Alice Barton
Public Relations
Alice Barton is a rising sophomore at Bridges Academy. She lives in Seattle, Washington with both her parents, sister, and dog whom she loves dearly. She has ADHD and members of her family are also neurodivergent. Her school is built for neurodivergent people, and going there really increased her interest in neurodiversity. She loves animals, her favourite ones are otters.
Pravin Balasingam
Public Relations
Pravin Balasingam is a sophomore at Los Gatos High School. He attended the 2023 SNP-REACH Program in the summer, and is currently continuing his neurodiversity advocacy as a subcommittee member on the public relations team. He finds interest in neuroscience and computer science with the hope of pursuing neuroscience research. He ultimately hopes to advocate for the rights special needs individuals are not able to voice themselves. In his free time, Pravin enjoys playing soccer, piano, and spending time outdoors.
Jerry Yang
Public Relations
Jerry Yang is a senior at Lynbrook High School in San Jose, CA. Born with autism and ADHD, Jerry takes great pride in spreading awareness and information about neurodiversity to everyone they meets and exchanging life experiences and neurodivergence knowledge with them. Outside of neurodivergence advocacy, Jerry is a massive STEM enthusiast with interest and expertise in the areas of math and computer science.
